I feel like they need to win 3 of their next 6 SEC games (vs UK, @ UGA) plus 1-2 in Hoover
Usually 13 would be the number but all those midweek losses might hurt them.

Really good turnaround by LSU this year. They're gonna be a problem for someone as a #2

Think they need 4 more between the next 2 series + Hoover to feel comfortable getting in. I think having Cags will get them some bonus juice from the committee; you want to see those guys in the postseason

With where our RPI is lose tonight win the other two series 2-1 we would be at 13-17 and I feel like LSU would be in because our out of conference record but itd be tough and may depend on Florida. Get to 14-16 I think we are a lock and 15-15 or 16-14 and I think we may host our RPI is in the 20s if we win tonight. That being said Ole Miss and Alabama are fighting for their postseason life’s too and won’t be a walk in the park one game at a time.

Only 18% of teams since 1999 with 12 SEC wins have made the tournament
37% with 13 wins
70% with 14 wins
I think 13 is the number for LSU, but going 4-3 to finish the season is far from a lock

We will be lucky to make it to Hoover. We aren't making the NCAA's. 12-18 is this team's ceiling.

Big time game here in Lexington today. The sun is shining out and temps are supposed to be in the upper 70s. Perfect day for baseball. Hope the Cats can take this rubber match.

Aggies 13-1 in games decided by more than 2 runs
Analysis
1) the Aggies are in every game
and
2) they blow a lot of people out
but
3) they play tight when it counts
it’s a small sample size, but that’s a sign of a very good team who appears to have some kryptonite

If they can go 7-0 or maybe even 6-1, they just might host a regional

We really don't have a place, but yes by all means I would rather see some new blood overachieving team that is excited to get in rather than us who would probably get in on reputation rather than merit.

We haven't swept anyone all season. I would have to see us prove we can do that before thinking we could sweep 3 in a row. Let's just keep winning series and win a few in the SEC tournament to get in.
