Assuming there are no obstacles (money, desire to stay put, etc.), but they have to be a current college coach (no Jim Harbaugh or Nick Saban, for example).
Here's mine:
1. Kirby Smart
2. Lance Leipold
3. Mike Elko
4. Brian Kelly
5. Ryan Day

Reading and comprehension skills are weak with this one.

They could all still be college coaches in alternate universes.
Don't blame me for your lack of imagination.

What makes you think any of those guys would have any success at A&M other than the one hand picked by administrators who have already learned their lessons about hiring a big shot who isn’t a good fit?
Two of those guys couldn’t get anything done at the bluest of blue bloods. Three of them have had players or assistants die on their watch. (Literally the only three of such folk with FBS HC jobs still)

Kirby
Harbaugh (yeah I know nfl now)
Deboer
Lanning
Kiffen
I left out sark on purpose but I'd put him in the #4 or #5 spot. He still has to win in the SEC to move up that list.
