I woke up this morning to a tweet from Matt Jones of Ky Sports Radio wondering why neither side and especially Arky has not made any official announcement…

People in Lexington are starting to ask questions given that going on 48 hours has passed and no announcements have been made, and apparently, Cal has as of now, said nothing to UK administration or his players. Rumors are flying that Arky is having trouble rounding up the cash for Cal's salary and all of the other things promised him in connection with the move!

Dead period right now. As long as still UK's coach in name, he can recruit his players. Once he's gone it would be a violation.

The last I heard was they were finalizing the contract yesterday. No announcement due to the championship game. Today, the BOT is supposed to meet and approve the contract. Presser tomorrow.

UK will upgrade from this. UK can recruit regardless of the coach, and Cal just hasn't been able to get it done. It says a lot that UK refused to counter
