No one knows anything definite yet. Hoke said from what he’s hearing it sounds unlikely he’s able to come but nothing certain.

Remember Desi Sills? That transcript circus cost us Trey Alexander imo.

Transferring instate (even tho it’s private) should be easier… oh well.

I have no idea what happened on that day where he was charged with domestic assault.

But was it a pattern of behavior? Has he been in other trouble before? Has he been in trouble since?

All important questions that need answers.

Yeah I mean AU would get crushed for it regardless of context but I am done caring about what our opponents think. Based on the bare facts it looks terrible and I'd rather not pursue him but nothing wrong with looking into it more. Might be some nuance.

Don't know details. Didnt Chris Beard do the same to his wife? Times have changed

Unless there's a lot more to that story seems wild we wouldn't take him

He beat and strangled a woman and people are really in here like "Well that doesn't seem to bad". If we end up with this dude I'll lose a lot of respect for Bruce and have a lot less patience for his preaching. I'd rather lose without this guy than win a championship with him. frick all woman beaters.

Nah no thanks to that dude. Winning means something but if you have to change your character to win frick that.

Correct. Clearly we won't be signing him.

I generally agree but if this women like threw a brick at him and threatened to kill his child or something it maybe changes things. I generally don’t form an opinion based on raw charges

Now this matters?

Without full details, but considering most charges got dropped and it was a misdemeanor it couldn't have been that terrible, I have a lot more sympathy than a kid doing something (again not sure of the details) in the heat of a moment than a grown man doing what our head football coach did, not to mention a history of other accusations, and we hired him to be the face of the university. Don't really see how you can have it both ways.

I don’t give a shite the circumstances. If he did it no chance should he represent Auburn University. Obviously if it’s false that’s different but if he beat up a girl or strangled a girl that’s a no go regardless.

Like I said winning don’t mean that much if you would do anything to win.

And there is a huge difference in fricking a chick and beating one up. Don’t be obtuse.

I'll refrain from going any further without knowing all the facts but there is definitely a scenario where what the kid did should be less of a disqualifier than what freeze did, especially given their roles.

I mean didn’t he go through the court process already and served out his punishment? There’s a point you got to give someone a chance if they have gone through all that.

Condemning someone for life is a bullshite principle to stand on. I am not politicking for us to take Dior by my post, just addressing some of the comments that he should be punished perpetually.

The question is, has he had any new instances of this behavior? What kind of person has he been since?

I don’t believe in the condemnation of a person for life.
