I don’t think this applies to many people outside of a brand new drinker.
I usually have a decent buzz after 3 drinks. That’s generally around a 0.06, given the standard 0.02 per drink.

Nope
I just respect other people out there.
Driving sober is a social contract we all should follow.
I hope you don't drink and drive.

Meh, I could see it if the program was dealing with the out of control street racing/ driving under the influence/ reckless driving above the law problems UGA is dealing with the last few years. But taken in a vacuum without that he would sit a couple games.
At UGA under Kirby? He will not even have to go to court if he can preform.

Nothing wrong with drinking if you can handle it. But if you can't, then you shouldn't. Especially if you're driving. No drinking at all then.

If you are truly impaired after 3 light beers, you are a legit light weight, and no, you shouldn’t drink beers at the restaurant you are eating dinner at. Most adults can handle a few without impairment though, so it’s not a big deal for them.

But at Georgia, he’s celebrated.
It’s fricking sad.
No he wouldn't.

How ok it is depends on how drunk one is.

Being a light weight is a blessing. It's funny how people think being able to consume higher amounts of alcohol or drugs is some huge bonus.
Cheaper for me to get fricked up? Sounds awesome to me. People got shite backwards.
That said, it's more about how fast you drink them. If you nurse the damn thing for an hour, sure 3 is not going to get you a buzz. But go ahead and slam 3 down 1 after the other in a bout 5-10 minutes, you'll have a buzz.
And really, the real test of being experienced is knowing how to maintain. It's always the idiot trying to impress people with how much they can drink that can't do it.

I didnt say that, and I didn’t imply it, so maybe you meant to reply to someone else.

Drinking and smoking laws SUCK. I had the honor of escorting a dead sailor to his final resting place after the Marine barracks bombing on October 23, 1983. He was 19 years old. Seems to me like, if you’re old enough to die for your country, you’re old enough to have a damn drink and a smoke.
Rest in Peace, Corpsman Howell.

So... this makes underage drinking A OK?

So…:this makes it very different from how some people were viewing it.

DUI less safe is also applied if he didn’t blow and they don’t have his blood alcohol level
You’re generally advised not to blow ever. It’s easier to plead to just the reckless driving if you don’t give them that data

Sorry Clemson, if he misses the opener it won't be from this charge.
So he actually didn't break the law, he just broke the law...okay, got it.

If you are not 21 0.08 is not the legal limit

Doesn’t matter what the drink is, generally. 3 shots = 3 wines = 3 beers. Your body will typically metabolize about one drink (0.02) per hour. If you have 3 drinks in one hour (0.06) and don’t feel a buzz, you may have a drinking problem.
You don’t go from stone cold sober to legally drunk (0.08) with the addition of one drink.
