It's Alabama we are not a powerhouse in basketball. He is recruiting well, but basketball truly can be looked at one season at a time. This year only returned 2 guys basically. That's how it falls when you had an elite team the year before.
Unfortunately we don't recruit like Kentucky so it's part of the ebbs and flows of roster management

To be fair both Clowney and Bediako gong pro were head scratchers, the regression on Pringle was on him, losing the assistant coaches didn’t help especially on defense

Without a big we were doomed to play small. In that situation you better have shooters and play great defense. Hit and miss this year.

People are incredulous because Florida hasn't been a bubble team since they opened SEC play with a win against Kentucky in Rupp.
Florida is solidly a 6 seed.

Scoring is up this year; it’s no coincidence that there have been numerous 100+ games in SEC play. Part of it is the way the games are called. It’s whistle whistle whistle whistle

Florida has been a lock for a while now.
You don't go from a bubble team to a 6 seed with a win or 2 in the tournament.

Florida lost to Kentucky in Gainesville to open SEC play. Florida beat Kentucky in Rupp on Jan 31. Florida has been in for almost two months. Florida could get a five or a four if they win SEC T, which I think they will.

Is Nate Oates allergic to playing zone?
We struggle against it but it doesn’t seem like he plays it much or doesn’t against us
Overall we’re just a bad matchup for Bama, Bama still a pretty solid team but not as good as least years
