Nashville is the perfect location for the SEC basketball tournament. Within a 5 hour drive of at least half the conference teams.

No offense to NOLA which is a great event city but downtown Nashville is nicer, cleaner, and safer than downtown NOLA as well.

New Orleans is an amazing place, but this is spot on. Nola also genuinely doesn't seem to give much of a collective shite about LSU.

I’d take Nola as well. Much better city. Wouldn’t want to live there but better to visit.

Because the perpetual smell of shite and throw up would sideline too many players in Nola

The SEC makes big bank on all those Kentucky fans. It’s a 2 hour drive for them. Hence 20,000 wearing blue

I'm not sure which of you who have actually been to New Orleans lately, but it is a crime ridden shite hole that smells like piss or weed everywhere you go.

That has always been the case, but doesn't seem to affect the amazing food or music.

Agree with the food, but crime is worse than it has ever been. The last I looked New Orleans Homicide rate was number 8 in the world of cities of 300,000 or more people,
