OU owns the football record for wins in a row at 47. I can’t see that record ever broken. Amazing feat.
And now OU Softball has won 61 straight. No matter what you think thats impressive. Likely never to be broken but since softball plays more games per year than football it’s slightly easier than 47 straight in football at this point. Still amazing dominance

Do you think either of those records ever happen in the SEC?

Man, nobody here cares about OU sports whether yall are SEC now or not.

Yeah, but what about men's gymnastics?

Don’t mean to be an arse but what does that say about OU women? More manly than the men.

Sports is sports. Every SEC team with a good women's sport brags about it, and you would too. College is both men and women.
Some are jealous but would take it in a heartbeat if their team.

A lot of haters out but I will say this, it is unlikely that any CFB team breaks that record. It is much tougher than people think.
By year 2 your upperclassmen are all gone and by year 3 almost all of those championship quality dudes have graduated or declared for the draft. Leadership and mentality are what creates the consistency to win 47 in a row and it's hard to lose that year after year

No it isn’t.
ETA:
16 downvotes.

Looks like EVERYBODY knows how tough it is. I guess I was right after all. I mean, who the frick thinks winning 61 games in a row isn't nearly impossible and may never be matched?

Yes you do, you (and them) are posting about it. It hurts your feelers so you lash out as only retort. Maybe get your women's sports to be better.

Just be glad you never competed around here.

Are you saying our softball didn’t play any SEC teams during that streak?

No. Are you simple?

All you “muh SEC” shills are so obsessed with jerking each other off it’s almost laughable, if not pathetic. Nobody gives a shite about the difference between “competing here” or there. OU has competed against the SEC and has had success doing so. Just admit your programs have nothing worth bragging about and shut up.

You and me both. I’m waiting until Chicken makes the Sooner board public, but for now I reside here.
