The NIL deal with Nico went down forever ago, as Donde Plowman said just 6 months ago the NCAA was saying UT was an exemplary school that everyone should follow. Now 6 months later we have this. Sounds like to me someone out there is pushing hard to create trouble for UT, maybe hoping to steal a recruit or two. Sounds like there is some real fear of the possible direction UT is building on.

Replying to my own comment, you're really going to tell me that they just finished investigating UT 6 months ago and Nico has been here now 3 yrs and they didn't find a problem then when they were investigating? What does that say? So who is the elephant in the room pushing this?

I hope everyone is healthy and eligible for Tennessee so they’ll have no excuses for another 8-4 year

It says they had more than one investigation.
Wow, that was pretty easy.

Yep. There's a right way to do things and a VOLS / Chumley way of doing things.

It says they should have found the problem when they were investigating the whole program. It says they should have never made the comment that we were an exemplary school that sets the standard for everyone else to follow. I think Donde doesn't back down and I'm here for it to middle finger the NCAA.

It's not the kid's fault, it's the corrupt university, its coaches, and its corrupt alumni leading the kid and his family to the biggest money grab.
For all the flack A&M got for throwing money to get kids - this $8 MILLION DOLLAR CARROT they waved to get the kid to even look at tinnissee is just as egregious.
UT gonna UT.

8 million over 4 years is 2 million a year. Florida actually did a pay for play scheme for 13 million to a QB they couldn’t afford and released him from his letter because of it. Kid then signed with Miami for 9 million. Spyre wasn’t offering the kid anything to come to Tennessee, and in fact was below what schools were paying.

It absolutely blows my mind some of you can say stuff like this with a straight face as a condemnation of another school.
