I wouldn't say scared. It's just football. I don't see him being any better than Lincoln at very best. He'll have a decent offense but a west coast quality defense. Bama will look impressive against cupcakes and maybe mid-tiers but will get beat by very good teams with a decent defense. Kind of like your '18, '19 squads.

He is 1-0 against Lincoln Riley.

Not me, I just viewed him as a good coach, much like I do DeBoer.

Georgia's best QB in their history needed OT to beat Saban's first team that went 7-6. I'm sure Georgia won by an even wider margin of victory the very next year when Bama went to Athens.

Short of this kind of statement you won't be satisfied:

"Bama football is doomed. Everyone knows they NEVER won anything before Saban. DeBoer will never do any better than .500 and Bama will never make the playoffs. Tuscaloosa will become a west Alabama wasteland that nobody wants to go to and they will begging for mercy from their SEC brethren."
In other words, what Clay Travis ignorant a$$ said.

Will DeBoer win at Bama? Who knows but there is way more evidence that he will than there is that he won't. Dude has won BIG everywhere he's been. Washington was dried up horseshite when he got there.

Still melting over it I see

Bama went to Athens 8 years later

Also, didn't Kirby beat Saban in a Natty more recent than Saban beat Kirby in a Natty ? Just checking in on that

Cornies got no D, no heisman candidate, and a coach with manboobs that make gus & pittman envious.

Ps. Your whole state smells like a paper mill.

Alabama hasn't won a playoff game since losing to Georgia in Indy.

'Bama went to Athens the very next season and basically mercy kneed Georgia after the first quarter. They waited until the second quarter the next trip to Athens that you're referring to.

And pointing out that Saban is 1-1 vs Kirby in title games is a sick flex. Now try his record in the SEC championship.
