The Wando river in SC is a key river for sea line ports.

Setting commerce aside, Current River in southern MO and Buffalo River NWA. Recommend anyone anywhere to visit both. Two amazing places

Most of it is in Kentucky as the state line is the low water mark of 1792. We won that case in the Supreme Court.
The Ohio River is hydrologically larger (greater flow) than the Mississippi at the confluence near Cairo, IL.
The Ohio is 981 miles long, 664 miles of which border Kentucky.
you're my blood relative
anybody who hasn't driven through Cairo, it's so sad and yet so historical
I skied in the Ohio River once, up in West Virginia while it was choppy, scary as shite
Paducah and Owensboro are such great people

Been kayaking here and it’s stunning. It’s easy to forget you’re still in the South and not somewhere out west

I’m partial to the Cahaba River. Runs right through the backside of our property.
Cool Cahaba River facts.
Longest free flowing river in Alabama. No Dams.
The waters of the Cahaba are home to more than 131 species of freshwater fishes (18 of which have been found in no other river system), 40 species of mussels, and 35 species of snails. The river has more fish species than can be found[ in all bodies of water in California.

The Chatooga is the border between GA and SC, you better put a Go Dogs in the OP next to it.

There’s the Mighty Mississippi River and everything else is a tributary.

so an overgrown swimming pool where people just lay around on innertubes and smoke marijuana is not a river
Guadalupe is not even a creek

Not true. There are at least two dams. One at 280 and another close to Caldwell Mill.

This is the South. The better question is which river has the best fishing.

Apalachicola Starts at the confluence of the chattahoochee and flint rivers just above woodruff dam at lake Seminole. The chattahoochee is 200 miles long and the flint over 100 when the meet to make the apalachcola. They drain the southern appachian mountains and the piedmont of Georgia west of the eastern continental divide and formed Baja Georgia which is erroneously referred to as Florida by uncouth types

Savannah River, border between Georgia and South Carolina so it belongs to both

Oconee River starts just north of Athens and feeds the Altamaha. The Ocmulgee River starts just south and east of Atlanta. The Altamaha has never been damned making it one of the largest free flowing rivers left on earth.
