How many Bama fans does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: 5.34 million
One to actually change it and the rest to talk about how bright the old one was.

Ole Miss got back to back on us, didn't they?
So did LSU in 2010 and 2011

I agree. And I hate that Miles couldn’t or wouldn’t adapt to the game. We were one of the few teams who could toe to toe with Bama on a yearly basis. Toss dive forever, I guess.

LSU was always a great game. So many NFL players.

I guess the best thing to do is look back when the future seems so bleak.
At least you’ll have the good old days to tell your kids and grandkids about since they won’t get to experience any success themselves.

Saban was very impressive. No one argues that.
Alabama? Eh.

Really makes you think.
Not to take anything away from a truly epic run though.

This is true. Yall popped up once or twice during that time but were cow dung the majority of the time.

Looks like Bama went 129-20 against the SEC during that time.
What I've learned on here as an apprentice member is that the only reason Bama only won 86.5% of their games is because of the "SEC grind".

The only reason UGA is so successful during that 17 years is because LSU and Bama were in the same division.
Swap UGA and LSU, and LSU has more division titles, more SEC Championships, and possibly more NCs.
UGA had a cakewalk over the last decade-plus.

Saban was actually 0-3 against Auburn in games when both teams were ranked in the top ten (2010, 2013 and 2017).
Never will be another run like Saban had, regardless of the school.

The West in the early part of those 17 years may be the greatest division in college football.

At one point in 2011, the West had the numbers 1, 2, and 3 teams in CFB.
No other division has accomplished that feat, i think.

Didn't the entire SEC West go bowling one season? Or maybe all but one team?
