Sorry gumps, don’t mean to add to your misery but they aren’t fricking around. Two 5 star receivers, good OC from ole miss, 4/5 star lineman every where if they get that QB from saraland like I am hearing they are going to be a problem

Bama fans will be saying something similar in the not too distant future.

good OC from Ole Miss?!

love Derrick nix as a recruiter..
but as an OC.. unproven in game calling and game planning.

it's gonna take him awhile to adapt.. and the stress of Freeze throwing him under the bus.

nah

NIL is an Auburn fan's wet dream. Oh, we can pay players like Bama and not get in trouble?

Still need new QB or current QB to take giant leap forward before any realistic talk

I'd say they're still one more year away after all of the recruits and incoming transfers acclimate to the Hugh Freeze's program. They'll still be much improved from their 6-7 campaign in 2023

2025 and beyond, look out

Agreed. They’ve hired some serious player makers this off-season.

It looks like we are on good pace to atleast be competitive by then so long as Freeze doesn’t end up getting himself in trouble

Auburn is a QB way from being a threat.

One more “rebuilding year” next year with 8-9 wins is likely. 2025 will be our year though

It's in his contract "playcalling autonomy" that's why he took the job vs just a title

2025 is our make or break year. Hoping 2024 if a much more fun team to watch, but we still have some roster limitations.

There’s zero chance Nix is calling plays next season. If so, Hugh’s tenure is over before it began.
