Sincere question for Auburn fans

Do you regret firing Malzahn? He was 3-5 against Saban (definitely the best of anyone who has faced him on a regular basis) and had 8 winning seasons in 8 years. Since his firing, Auburn is 0-3 against Bama (and Georgia) and has had 3 straight losing seasons. Obviously, Harsin didn’t work out (and Lane would have been better), but if you could do it again, would you keep Gus?

Nope...Gus had ran its course at Auburn
Now how his replacement was put in place....makes no sense

No. We just screwed up the hire of his replacement

No.

My only regret is he wasn’t fired in 2015.

Gus was 0-14 outside of Jordan hare against Georgia, Alabama, LSU, and Clemson.
Next question.

When Freeze gets fired Auburn will hire Kiffin and he will take the job this time just to punish Alabama for not hiring him. Once Kiffin comes to Auburn we will regret it for the next 20 years.

Nope.
Won games he shouldn't have, then lost games he shouldn't have. Tired of the rollercoaster.

Take a look at our recruiting and then guess.
ETA: He really could have been a good coach. Needed to find someone outside his circle to implement a modern passing game. Needed to realize blue chip players on the oline are crucial. He could never do those things.

Contrary to Bama thinking not everything revolves around beating you.

Yes. When firing Gus, they needed a replacement in mind. You don't fire Gus to hire Harsin.

His program had become stale. He was so good at one time that saban cried about "player safety". Good times.

Was tired of his shite, but he would have killed at Auburn today. He couldn’t recruit olinemen and couldn’t develop a qb. There is an easy solution to this now.
