very interesting data. Going to be some disappointed anti-A&M posters.

Keep in mind our defense was like 95% Seniors with a couple juniors. Lots of replacing to do.

If they're not at Alabama or Georgia, it's because they wouldn't make it there.

Yah but for some of those schools losing the four stars who are 3rd on depth charts are not the same as getting a younger four star who will contribute .

Also worth noting…. Poor Oregon State is losing 6 four star players. That’s got to be close to all they had on their team to start with. Sucks for them to be losing Power Program status.

They forgot to recruit HS kids this year

I'm a little surprised they had 2 to lose.

I found it interesting that the stud they cruited out of HS wanted a pay raise and they let him walk. Portal king seem to be just fine as 2nd Stop U.

You have to subtract a star from each Bama player who left to account for the Bama bump

Bama losing five players all 4 & 5 star recruits Florida State is too delicious.
On the positive they get to play their former team again in 2025.

I'm not saying that none of these guys hurt or help their school, but you have to remember there are many reasons for entering the portal. And maybe chief among them is being unhappy with playing time.
Point being that all of these guys are not sure fire improvements for the teams that get them, nor sure fire losses for the teams they left.
BV at Kentucky. He may be great, but he likely would've waited until his senior year to play at UGA. That position is always gonna be high volume in the transfer portal for that reason.
JDJ at Kentucky. That's what you want. Even though he likely was gonna be rotational, you know he can play at a high level. And yes, it's still a loss for us. He would've contributed. Maybe not as heavily in the past, but still would've seen the field a good bit.
Won't name a name, but we have a five star on this list that played somewhat. Left for money to another school. Did not practice hard and we didn't care to try to match the offer. We could have, but we didn't. If he starts for the other school, I'd bet they aren't as good as they were this year. That's all I'll say about that.
