I haven’t seen you chime in. What’s your thoughts on the new head coach and his subsequent hires?

If PowHound could chime in as well that’d be great.

I’m more impressed with DeBore’s staff hires than with Saban’s over the last 3 years.

Saban already tried to get someone on his stuff before (Grubb). You don't win as many games as DeBoer has and not know what you're doing. Either he's the luckiest sumbitch alive or he knows what he's doing.

I’ve responded multiple times.
He may end up being good but it’s another shite hire because we desperately need recruiters.

Won 10 games in 2022 at USA and beat the ever loving shite out of Eastern Michigan in their bowl game this year.

Beat the hell out of Oklahoma State earlier this year too. Embarrassed them and shut them out. Not bad for a Sun Belt team playing a P5 school that is usually pretty decent. Guess he showed Mike Gundy who the man was!

“He’s a young guy,” Michael Penix Jr. said. “He actually reclassified, came in early, he wanted to be able to spend a year in the offense. Seeing me and seeing how I operated in the offense and stuff like that. I did my best to just show him as much of the offense as I could and continue to encourage him.”

Michael Penix is confident that what he saw in practice will one day translate onto the field.

“His confidence is out of the roof, man. He’s going to be an amazing player at Alabama. That’s definitely going to be a household name there pretty soon, and he has so much talent at a young age that I saw as soon as he came in and just the way he was able to pick up the offense, and pick up on just seeing (reading) the defenses, and reacting to the plays, it was amazing to see. So, I know his ceiling is very high.”

Hopefully he’ll be willing to still come when DeBoer is fired in three years.

I know that but I could have sworn I read he was both earlier today.

Coleman Hutzler was our ST coach last year.

Do you have a wife? Does she live in Tuscaloosa? If so, he probably slept with her or she knows somebody that he slept with.

Get over that dude.

One of the most overrated head coaches of our time. Great offensive mind, average head coach.

You mean you didn’t like the 30 year old OC whose alma mater sent him packing and the 40 year journeyman DC, say it ain’t so?

If Lane would’ve been our OC when Golding was the DC we would’ve been fine. The main issue was how bad the offense was with so much talent.
