So T-Rob can pick his own staff but it has to include Roach?

I don’t think it’s really that crazy even if it’s just a guess. DeBoer would be smart to consider him and if offered T Rob would take it no doubt. Schumann still calling plays at UGA.

We know what it’s like with Armstrong to hire a guy as a position coach then he’s immediately gone because he got a promotion somewhere else.

Of course T Rob leaving and then coming right back would be a very unique scenario.

Whatever happens I really do not want the Iowa DC. Phil Parker just doesn’t feel like the best option imo.

Edit: damn should have read the rest of the thread before responding. Glad this T Rob deal has legs. Hope it’s real.

PFF thought Parker was the best D-Coord in the nation this year.

I'd be willing to wait for Harbaugh to jump to NFL and we can grab up Jesse Minter (if interested).

I saw somewhere that Tommy Rees was being retained… but why? If Grubb is coming, what will Rees’ role be?

Also, I’d take TRob as DC… he can bring Schumann to be co-DC with him haha

I’d get Bo Davis from LSU as DL Coach

In 11 seasons as Iowa DC, check out the national scoring defense ranks for Parker’s defenses: 2nd, 13th, 6th, 5th, 11th, 17th, 13th, 19th, 50th, 9th and 33rd in his 1st season in 2012. Parker has had 20 players drafted by the NFL, and only this past April did he have a 1st-round selection (Edge Lukas Van Ness, LB Jack Campbell).

Did it come from a reliable source about Rees? There is a lot of BS out there. Usually I determine if the source is a reliable one and then see if it can be verified somewhere. A lot of stuff we get here is just randos on message boards and Twitter or just Bama accounts that look reputable but or really just a bunch of dudes making stuff up.

Could only see it if they make him a dedicated QBC and he accepts losing playcalling duties. Could see it working as an on-the-job training to call the DeBoer offense when Grubb gets an HC offer.

Harbaugh should go to Dallas.

They crapped the bed today vs the Packers

I would be shocked if Harbaugh doesn’t go to the NFL…he’s losing a ton of players and that sign stealing fiasco isn’t going anywhere.

If and when Michigan opens up they will target Brian Kelly and he’ll take it. The LSU melt will be glorious.

Bring Grubb a Gatorade/water refill when he needs it.

He could get an off field job like QC analyst, or some such. We would still be paying him through the length of his contract, anyway, wouldn't we?

Neither Lsu or Lane would survive that , I doubt they go after Schumann.
