This is true. And after Steele immediately retired, i think he was right.
We all know lane is an extremely gifted offensive mind. So when he says Steele wasn't calling the defense, it's because he saw enough signs and recognized that we weren't calling plays like Steele would have called them.

I think TRob should be the DC offer. He's ready for another shot at being a DC. He's a popular coach amongst the players and can maintain some continuity from 2023. I'd like to see several of the coaches on defense stick around tbh. Roach is already confirmed. Bala also seems like a winner too.

I am positive CKD wants his coordinators and staff hired, and out recruiting asap. So he will make the hire whoever it is soon. Hopeful its announced tommorow.
