I don't think DeBoer could or should be comfortable with TRob (or Glenn) having to run the defense completely by himself for the first time without a D head coach or a Co-coordinator, even with a Saban endorsement. It is begging for problems that could harm his tenure.

Carlton, I get where you’re coming from and I don’t necessarily disagree BUT if Schumann ain’t ready to take the training wheels off now, when will he be? He’s been standing by the Muschamp-Kirby braintrust for 7 years and co-coordinator for 4. If he isn’t ready by now, he never will be.

It's fine but if I'm DeBoer, I am not willing to take that risk considering the magnitude of what I am taking on.

They need to get here to talk to the offensive skill players now

It's kind of crazy that the Offensive players are leaving when we hired an Offensive coach and those are the coaches hired first. The Defensive players are still here. I guess that's probably because Saban has more involvement and those players are more bought in?

Regarding Schumann, if I'm DeBoer and Schumann isn't reaching out to me or showing interest in the BAMA DC job, frick him. Let him stay with Kirby and get passed over for DC by TRob.

Coach DeBoer has to get somebody in place that wants to live outside somebody else's shadow and wants to be the man. If Shumann is content to be co-DC at uga, I don't want him at BAMA.

I suspect a lot of this has to do with leaders like Moore keeping these guys bought in

As you guys said, Huff and Sheridan for OL and TE have been reported by Charlie Potter.

I love that every time I check-in, another guy is in the portal haha. The current portal and NIL rules are bad enough, but they have the potential to decimate a team in a situation like this…

Also, not really sure why we have more offensive guys leaving than defensive…

Co-DC title doesn’t mean he isn’t the DC.

Seems belittling to share a title with three other men. Very cuckish.
