It’s normal for some to move on. If not good deal.

Be ready for a bunch of co-TE, co-ST, co-SC coaches

Yes, except he was “encouraged” to hire/keep some staff….Etheridge and Caddy were retained, and he hired Bobo and Mason for the SEC experience.

It blew up epically. Never a good situation when a school is dictating staff to a new coach….kinda like what Bama appears to be doing with DeBoer.

Success of a team depends a lot on how the staff meshes and works together. Bama should step back and let DeBoer hire who he wants but they won’t….they are reverting right back to pre Saban days where boosters had their hands all in the program. Saban told them to frick off, but he had the clout to do that. DeBoer won’t.

Better wait and see how many stay.

True, but I think those guys have an attractive track record for developing receivers and utilizing them well.

This should alarm every gump.

He needs all the ace recruiters with south eastern ties he can get. He’s got to know that right?

You guys should be fine on offense with the Washington staff, it's the defense that would worry me.

Plus, if you try to mesh some of the guys who are already there with the Washington guys, you're going to have two factions within the staff very quickly.

So who is going to be the Quarterback in 2024?

1) Milroe?
I'm thinking his talents aren't the best fit for DeBoer's system. Perhaps he is a coach that will tweak it to fit his skillset.

2) Simpson?
I don't know much about him other than that he was rated and didn't look all that great against South Florida.

3) Suchner?
Surely he isn't there anymore, either way, he is not HIM.

4) Sayin?
This dude is going to be good, but can he be ready as a true freshman?

If it isn't one of those guys, who do they possibly get? New players can't enter the portal until the end of the Spring. I suppose they could take someone then if they don't have anyone in the Spring cut out to start.

Perhaps there is a guy on Washington's roster that transfers with him? Maybe there is someone who isn't committed yet in the portal?

For 2024, this is a major issue imo.

Does Penix have any eligibility left? You think Bama will be fine having their rushing offense rank in the 100s?

Doesn’t he need coaches that evaluate players to fit his system? Aren’t those the ones he has now?
