I’m glad he stayed in Oxford.

I would think even the biggest Ole Miss homer should at least be self aware enough to understand that Kiffin would be in Tuscaloosa right now if the job had been offered.

Why would he go there and deal with those expectations when he can work on stealing their players and surpassing them in a Sabanless era?

It's a win for us. Kiffin gets to keep whipping that LSU arse without coming to Tuscaloosa.

Why would he stay at Ole Miss and hope to poach a few players when he could just have all of them?

Never offered and didn’t even get a raise

Trust me I am so glad Kiffin is still at OM. I never liked him when he was the OC at Bama. I damn sure do not want him as head coach.

Ole Miss is no one's dream job.

Bama had a better season than Ole Miss and yet they're disappointed. Bama is a much more serious place with serious pressure that requires a serious coach

Apparently Saban killed any chance of Lane being considered for the job, according to Mark Schlabach and others.

Lol…Saban told Bama admins to stay away from Lane. You believe what you want.
Posted on 1/12/24 at 4:37 pm to themetalreb
If Bama was interested Lane would either be in Tuscaloosa or have a new contract. Jimmy Sexton wouldn't squander an opportunity like that.
