Dude, my dog could get into LSU

Refer to my earlier point about you behaving just like an Aggie.

You're just an orange Aggie.

I'm asking why everyone says the SEC schedule is so much harder than the Big 12 Schedule.

Ok let’s look at it:

Texas 2023 Conference Schedule:
School - Team Talent Rank - Attendance (away games)
At Baylor - #46 - 49k
Kansas - #62
Oklahoma - #9
At Houston - #49 - 42k
BYU - #72
Kansas State - #68
At TCU - #19 - 50k
At Iowa State - #60 - 61k
Texas Tech - #40
Oklahoma State - #55
Average: #48 - 51,000

Texas A&M 2023 Conference Schedule:
School - Team Talent Rank - Attendance (away games)
Auburn - #18
Arkansas - #32
Alabama - #1
At Tennessee- #16 - 101k
South Carolina - #22
At Ole Miss - #23 - 65k
Mississippi State - #29
At LSU - #7 - 101k
Average: #18.5 - 89,000

The line of scrimmage is where the SEC is better than the Big 12

I wish Utx had been given a harder fb schedule for 2024. I have a feeling they would better understand what we're talking about if they had to play in Baton Rouge, Athens, Tuscaloosa, Auburn, even Gainesville as bad as we suck right now.

Next year they play GA, Florida, Miss State, Kentucky at home. They play OU in Dallas as usual, Arky in Fayetville, A&M in College Station- all 3 are former conference mates and they've played in these locations for decades in the past, so nothing new.

The only new SEC road game UTx has in 24 is at Vandy. The 24 UTx conference football schedule is the easiest in the sec. So, wait for them to be crowing next year about how easy sec is.

Texas marched in to Tuscaloosa this season and gave Saban his worst home loss there. Double digit win!

We understand!

The league is giving them a little gentle foreplay before they bend them over and introduce them to the business. You know how this goes. Soon enough they will have UGA, LSU, Bama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tenn, Auburn, Aggie etc all in the same year just because the league office can. And we will bump this thread and get a good laugh at the hubris.

Lol not even remotely true. Have you seen a&m's?

Well they kicked the champion's arse this year on their own home field. How hard can it be?

So you're going to laugh at Texas for playing a schedule that clearly nobody else in the conference will have had to play?

It's almost like the incredibly poor academic reputation most of the school's in this league have is well-warranted or something...

That was your superbowl. Only hard game of your regular season.

Not the same as playing Bama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, etc. week after week all season.

That's strange. This says our schedule was harder than all but 2 SEC teams' this season (one of which Texas beat by 10 on the road).

6-7 Auburn that lost to New Mexico State

Florida that just lost 7 games for the second year in a row?

Bama who lost to Texas by almost 3 scores at home yet beat all of the teams you just mentioned?

Texas fans can only point to the Alabama game because they don't understand that it's about the in conference schedule as a whole, not one specific team.

They can't grasp that 10 of 14 SEC teams played a tougher in conference schedule than they did.

I wonder why the league office didn’t give OU a softer schedule to help them ease into conference play?

OU has the following sec teams in 24- Tenn, Ole Miss, SC, Auburn, Missouri, LSU and Bama in back to back weeks at end of season. OU will understand what it means to play an sec schedule by the end of next season.

Doesn't know what "etc." means. Lectures others that they need higher academic standards. Orange Aggie, indeed.

Serious question. How do these results imply that the SEC is so much harder than the Big 12?

Let's see if this helps. It was the most recent chart I could find. And no, it hasn't changed much in two years:

No, they're not. Not by a long shot. You and your fan base would like to believe that, but you'll find out soon it's not the case.

I am just hoping Oklahoma and UT can help the SEC look better in basketball. We have a few top teams and then big drop off

TO OP not sure where you pulled that info from but Mizzou was 5-1 vs the Aggies from 2000-2011 not 1-5.

There’s five SEC teams ranked ahead of an overrated OU team that had one ranked win.
