I wish Utx had been given a harder fb schedule for 2024.
Here is the estimated 4 year schedule for Texas & Oklahoma the way they created the 2024 schedule.
It isn't perfect by any means, but it makes more sense when you look at it this way.
TX Home Games
Year 1: Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, State
Year 2: A&M, Arkansas, Vanderbilt
Year 3: Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, SC
Year 4: LSU, Tennessee, Missouri
TX Road Games
Year 1: A&M, Arkansas, Vanderbilt
Year 2: Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, State
Year 3: LSU, Tennessee, Missouri
Year 4: Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, SC
OU Home Games
Year 1: Alabama, Tennessee, SC
Year 2: LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri
Year 3: Georgia, Kentucky, Vandy
Year 4: Florida, A&M, State, Arkansas
OU Road Games
Year 1: LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri
Year 2: Alabama, TN, SC
Year 3: Florida, A&M, State, Arkansas
Year 4: Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt
The biggest difference is Vanderbilt vs Tennessee. For those that play Vanderbilt, it's a weaker schedule. For those that play Tennessee, it is harder.

If your last statement is true, how in the hell was one of their two best SEC seasons pulled off with players recruited to play in the Big12? Sherman (their coach at the time) was opposed to an SEC move and when it happened it was quite sudden..no time to recruit "SEC" players.

Whoever came up with those numbers is wrong.
A&M went 1-5 against Mizzou from 2000-2011, not 5-1.

lol I pulled the whole thing together, so if it's wrong, and I'm guessing it is, then that is on me
I'm not fixing it now.. may do it later though.

I think the SEC west with Texas, OU, and LSU (if they split into east/ west division) will be tougher than the SEC east, and any version of the old Big 12, or old SEC; especially, now that Saban is gone..
It's going to be filled with a lot of old hate fueled rivalries and new ones will be formed..
