Missouri will go back to being Missouri ; LSU talent is still better than what Missouri has though as we do every year we lose great players; but those players are replaced with more great players.

Mizzou offense will be T10 int. While we lost a lot on defense, we picked up some big transfer. We also have an easier schedule. I’ll be shocked if we don’t have more success than we did this year.

So Missouri loses there def coordinator to LSU and they are 6 spots ahead of The L!

Overpaying for a coordinator isn’t going to fix that shitshow in one off season.

Your defense sucked arse. And you lose your generational QB. LSU will be worse and Kelly will be on the hot seat.

Yet we beat you this season. Have more talent. Better class coming in. Better facilities, NIL, & history.

Missouri is poverty compared to LSU

Unlike last year, Bama won’t get the luxury of playing all their ranked opponents at home, and LSU won’t be playing all of theirs on the road.

I’m not sure what that has to do with MO being ranked ahead of LSU, but OK. Losing three absolute studs on your offense is a pretty valid reason to hedge bets on LSU a little. It’s not an insult, just an explanation.

My cousin Billy Bob has a 2024 poll out too.

It means about as much as the this poll does.

LSU is losing the best player in CFB, plus two really good receivers. I’m not sure the DC has a magic wand to fix the D in one offseason either.

IIRC, Mizzou also loses Cody Schrader. Without him, their season looks very different. That's the kind of player he turned out to be this year - a huge difference maker that could and did carry them when nothing else was going right.

Big pieces (especially on D) to replace for Mizzou. I think we are top 25 still but I wouldn’t be surprised with a season similar to Tennessee this year around 8-4.

Mizzou lost almost its entire D to graduation or the draft.

LSU is too high

Baker will have to completely flip the defense around and we will obviously take a step back on offense. Still don't see enough for us to win 9 or 10 games though.

Unless you're like BAMA and have 5*s stacked like cord wood, finishing the season with 9 wins during a rebuild isn't bad at all. The thing that gets me when I think about our season is the Florida loss. If we win that game + bowl game, we finish the season with 10 wins.

Tennessee needed a difference maker on offense and we simply didn't have one (well we did at one point but they all got injured). We had a lot of guys that were very good. But none that were stars this season. None that stood out. How we managed to be a top 20 offense without that kind of player is a mystery.
