He may have done his paperwork but that doesn’t mean he will end up in the portal. He can tell the coaches he changed his mind.

Bowl game was the 30th and you have 5 days post bowl game to declare which means 4 January was the deadline. Assuming 48 hours/2 business days to actually hit the portal we “should” see something tomorrow if he did enter.
