the top 4 teams in the nation, but we had our chance and lost to Bama fair and square.

Bama timed their one loss a lot better than Georgia did, and the CFP chose correctly.

It's not the CFP committee's fault that there were six teams that had a decent claim to only four spots. But given what they had, they did the best they could, imo.

FSU is in a cupcake conference and does not deserve to get in over the SEC Champ. Georgia had a shot and lost the SEC Championship to a one lost Bama.

The CFP made the right call.

No they didn’t. But I agree; Georgia had their chance.

How the hell would we know. There are 50 players opted out in this game...

So FSU is who we thought they were? Congratulations UGA. Y’all too deserved to be in it along with Bama. Great win.

You can’t have it both ways. If you “one of the top four teams”, then scream you got screwed.

If “you had your chance and lost”, then scream because Florida State earned their chance and got screwed.

And if we further want to call out the lying scumbag playoff committee, if “player availability” was such a big factor for keeping Florida State out, then why was it also not considered regarding UGa’s three-point loss to Alabama? Two of the Bulldogs top offensive weapons, including their best, were limited by injuries.

Not to mention the free seven points gifted to Alabama before the half when a highly questionable call wasn’t even reviewed. I mean, why didn’t the committee consider that?

I can only conclude from your OP that you are, in fact, NOT a UGA fan....you must be a Bama alter or something? UGA is definitely deserving of a playoff spot.

Golden Dawg! Stfu!! Ok! The playoff committees argument was that the 4 strongest teams got in right? What happened 2 yrs ago? You guys lost to Alabama in the Seccg and won it All! Don’t want to hear your argument because your fellow Dogs are probably going not agree with you anyway and Georgias a Monster!! An Absolute Monster! I’ll bet my House yallll win it all next year and who knows we could be looking at the next Bud Wilkinson type Dynasty of 50+ wins in a row!

We will never know what would have happened had FSU stayed a cohesive football team with all it’s players available not only against UGA, but how it would have fared in the playoffs as a four seed playing Michigan instead.

Then why did they rank FSU ahead of Georgia?

Because it was the name test for top four and record test after that.

IMO, Georgia is better than Meatchickin or Washington, but I don’t think the powers that be want to entertain the possibility of an all SEC championship again. When it goes to a 12 team playoff, that’s what it will be half the time.

bullshite! By the BCS' own words, it's about the body of work and picking the four best teams. If Georgia was one of the four best teams, (and they are) they should've been in. You only have to go back two years to see that a conference championship game doesn't mean the better team won.
The committee put Bama in, in contradiction to their own stated metrics, because they wanted Bama to be in.
And it will be obvious when Michigan whips them and proves they didn't deserve to be there.

The playoff has nothing to do with best teams or most deserving….never has. It’s always been about TV. Cincinatti was in it once. Michigan is in it this having plead guilty to cheating and going in the tank statistically post cheating. If it was about best teams UGA is in. If it’s about most deserving FSU is in. Neither is because it’s always been about TV. Georgia had its shot. They missed. It happens. The committee is as right as it’s ever been….they are beauty pageant judges and that’s all
