2011. LSU beat up on every single team on the schedule except Alabama and even beat them anyway in Tuscaloosa. Lee was leading the SEC in passing. The defense may have been the best in the nation. Destroyed Georgia in the SEC championship game and spent most of the entire season ranked number 1. Should have been playing Oklahoma State for the national championship instead of getting Alabama (again).
Threaten the State of Colorado by informing the governor that the government of the United States will begin enforcing federal law in Colorado regarding the possession, sale, and distribution of cannabis.

EDIT: Oh, and the fact that this particular Democrat outpolled this particular Republican in Miami absolutely amazes me. Doesn’t look good for 2026.

I was just reading the other night about the USS Wahoo, an American submarine in the Pacific in WW2. The sub torpedoed and sank a Japanese transport ship in January 1943. The captain, a prominent and respected submarine commander of one of the most effective boats in the fleet, decided to use his deck gun and machine guns to kill the survivors as they clung to boats, rafts, and debris. Ironically, many of those people were British Army Indian soldiers who were being transported as POWs of the Japanese. Good thing there wasn’t video of it available to every person on Earth with a cellphone.
