“Breaking the Law. Breaking the Law.” (Beavis and Butthead)
The logistics planning of the U.S. military is one of its most outstanding features. It is simply the best of all the world’s fighting forces and has been since the Civil War. If you think that expenditure of armaments and supplies were not taken into account before this got started, you are mistaken. If they were not, then we need to fire the current faculties at West Point, Colorado Springs, and Annapolis. Additionally, I rarely believe anything I read in the Washington Post.

You must stop thinking of them as “leaders”. They are NOT. They are your legislative representative. Elect someone else.

Me too. Who would have thought that that part of Miami would elect a corrupt, grafting crook to replace a corrupt, grafting crook (Alcee Hastings who after being thrown off the federal bench for taking bribes won election/reelection to Congress in that Miami district for years).
Maybe she can have the Corrine Brown suite at the crossbar hotel.

Zero security lines at MSY late morning today.
Oddly, there may be less of this in Louisiana than other states. Louisiana citizens and local politicians have been stealing and defrauding for so many years in new and inventive ways that the feds have been on to them for a very long time. The DOJ/FBI probably have a dedicated airplane ready to go to Baton Rouge at all times when the corruption/graft bat signal goes up. As a result of various successful investigations and prosecutions, many potential fraudsters in Louisiana may be thinking twice about stealing from the citizenry there. Of course, I may be too idealistic about this.

This is precisely why Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.

Even if the D’s gain the majority in the House, they won’t get control of the Senate and Trump’s still there for two more years with a presidential veto at the ready anyway.

This is absolutely laughable.
How does THAT get to Biarritz? Must assume blowjobs aplenty.
I’ve read the plot device of negligently leaving secret documents on a train in a couple of Cold War era spy novels. I knew it was a thing, but usually the dumbass is relegated to a basement office desk behind a filing cabinet and given duty as a crossing guard in a pet cemetery, not a promotion to a third star.
A Better War by Lewis Sorley should be required reading for anyone interested in the Vietnam War. I was in Vietnam in a mechanized infantry unit in the time frame covered by the book and can attest to its accuracy.

Drunk and fishing. White bread, bologna, processed cheese, mustard and mayonnaise. Guiness. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, puke.

I do not know. I do not watch television.

Me two. I’d like to see Carville, Reich, Stephanopolis, and Begala loaded on the next lunar mission.
