He, his family, and Sarkisian have all famously said he wasn't making a dime until he won the starting job. His only NIL deal I can find anything on was with Panini and he donated the proceeds to charity.

Xavier Worthy with American Airlines, Sonic and Fortnite. And, Kelvin Banks with Bose. That’s Texas’ NIL power showing.

At least Texas is actually showing something relative to NIL (Name/Likeness/Image). I've often wonder what kind of marketing/adverts players are doing to actually earn their NIL $$ - I see very little in the area of actual marketing campaigns, billboards, radio or commercial advertising with a college athlete.

Arch was actually offered 3.2 million from Alabama. But up. Further review it was confederate money. Not to worry other recruits, confederate money is still legal tender in Alabama, Mississippi and most of Florida and Georgia.

They do a lot of charity appearances and events. Sign memorabilia, etc.

Endorsing products is just a part of the NIL money train.

Yeah, it’s actually been kinda cool to see the whole Texas OL is in a commercial for a big law firm out here.

I have absolutely no qualm with athletes getting paid for their NIL, wish it could've happened many years ago. But I do like to see actual evidence of athletes performing an event or endorsement of a product or service for these millions that are rumored to be paid out to them.

Sure, a kid may appear at a charity event or autograph session. But how much time do they really have to dedicate to those type events when they're carrying a full class load and team responsibilities? It stands to reason there may be some grade issues arise when a kid is spread so thin.

A&M can do the same. However, we have to pay off Fisher so probably not this year. Otherwise, we'd be a finalist for Walt. SMU would definitely be one to watch. They have some really rich alumni

Yeah people are sleeping on SMU they have silly money and they're willing to throw it at The football team. They're going to be taking some highly ranked DFW guys for sure in the near future.

"I guess the prestige of having Manning just walk through the door and have his butt on
your bench means $-millions to Texas."

He was a huge reason the 2022 recruiting class was so good on paper. Several other recruits mentioned wanting to play with Manning. Whether they all pan out, we will have to see.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Unless anyone here or elsewhere has direct access to these players tax paperwork...ALL of these numbers thrown around are pulled straight out of someone's arse.

Dude was gonna make that bread anywhere. Has little to do with UT & a lot to do with Manning.

You forgot Aston Martin for Ewers. I would have killed all of you for an Aston to tool around in at 19 years old, that's simply beyond baller.
