Bama fans wouldn't be so insufferable if they just acknowledged the grift

You just need to say "yep, it's complete shenanigans but it benefited me and I'm happy about it, and we were placed in the playoffs because the powers that be decided it would be better for TV."
Instead you twist yourselves into gay little pretzels making absurd arguments about why you "deserve" to be elevated over an undefeated P5 team. That's the only reason people get annoyed with Alabama fans.

We’re doing exactly what you would be doing if your school was in the exact situation.
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss.

Im a Bama fan who fully acknowledges the system is fricked up. FSU has benefitted from it in the past so I dont feel bad at all.

This is exactly opposite of reality.
You people have been coming absolutely unhinged because a team with the FIFTY-FIFTH (55th) ranked SOS got left out. They literally had a G5 team with a tougher SOS in front of them.
But you want us to pretend going 12-1 against the 5th toughest schedule in the country and winning the SEC needed some kind of bias to be admitted into the playoff.
You people are literal retards.

No, I completely acknowledge that both of LSU’s BCS National Title appearances in the 2000’s were fluky. I mean, a 2 loss team that makes it in when only 2 teams play for the title? Absolutely absurd. In 2003, USC had a great case to be in that game. The argument over whether Oklahoma or LSU should have been the odd one out could reasonably be made with no clear definitive answer.
2011 was a travesty because only a handful of programs (Alabama, Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio St, Michigan, maaaaaybe USC) would have been allowed to jump Okie St like that to play a team they already lost to in the regular season. Alabama was clearly a better team than Okie St, and LSU’s loss still stings, but Okie St got robbed By the committee of the opportunity.
The reality is that cfb is a multi-tiered monster. Some teams are given every benefit of the doubt, every possible justification, and sometimes even “help” from officials in games, while other programs can be perfect and still not get a chance at the title. It simply be that way, and it needs to change.

I don't typically say things I don't believe just to appease butt hurt fans like yourself. You are the one that needs to accept reality.
Alabama beat the no. 1 team in America on the last weekend. Only loss was to a playoff team. They deserved to get in. If you can't understand that then you need to address your own bias.
I can promise you if the scenarios were flipped you would say an undefeated Bama with a weak schedule shouldn't get in over a 1 loss FSU that just beat a no. 1 team.
You don't like Alabama. That's why you don't think they deserved to get in. Just admit it.

For years and years the ACC has been a punchline on this board. Then suddenly on Sunday around lunch it turned into a serious P-5 conference where you have to survive a murderer's row including Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Pitt, and Wake Forest to win it.

You just need to say
"Bama is a top 4 team, and that is the criteria which qualifies someone for the play offs and no matter how it shook out some fans/teams were inevitably going to be upset about it... and that's why expansion is inevitable. but i hate bama and that's why i'm bitching and moaning right now."
As soon as you say that for us, that'll help. Thanks.

Poster Tuscaloosa can't admit that Alabama is only in the playoff because Jordan Travis got injured.
Sad.

At least you’re admitting the correct teams were in the championship.

Why would I admit to something I don't believe?
I have morals you know.

And if Florida St had an identical record to Alabama, not one person on this board would disagree with Florida St getting left out.
At the end of the day, though, a team can only play the teams on their schedule, something the players have no control over. Punishing them because Miami and Clemson had disappointing seasons seems ridiculous, but these things happen when you have a subjective system to field a playoff rather than an objective one.
