I doubt he cares about a championship. That's a nice-to-have for most college players in 2023.
It's about getting to the NFL as quickly as possible.

If Diggs comes back, the running back room is going to be a little bit too full I think. If not, then it would be the perfect fit.
Diggs isn't coming back.

Then he’ll yeah…bring on Etienne. It’s got to be really enticing to him to be able to play behind that offensive line we are going to be bringing back.

There's some smoke that he's going to hit the portal. If Buzzcut Billy loses ETN to a rival he'll be nothing more than a lame duck next year.

Uh what?
Dude is barely keeping pace with Montrell Johnson. That won't be the thing to break Napier.

It's not that Trell is a bad back but the optics of losing one of your best recruits in addition to everything else wouldn't strike you as concerning?
Good luck selling the program on the recruiting trail with those optics.

Yea the place that's last 3 head coaches won national championships during their tenure isn't the place for possibly winning a championship. I guess losing the last 5 and 8 outta the last 10 to the Tigers has your mind screwed up.

It's 2023, this is happening to every program every year. It's come and go.
Billy's going to have a lot of challenges with recruiting anyway with 5-7 season, losing a single guy isn't going to be the issue.

Right and this would just be one more thing and imo signals that the buy-in from the current roster is waning.

He will probably be better off at LSU. If Diggs leaves, you have the 2 freshman on the roster now, and the incoming freshman. Maybe Williams comes back. He would be a big need.

I don't know what his draft projection is but that's the word on one of our pay sites.

And…. You arrived at that conclusion how? Since only one school (Alabama) has won more national championships since 2000 than LSU.

1) The Etienne fam doesn't care for LSU
2) Not sure why he would leave unless he doesn't like his coaches
3) You're right, LSU hasn't been done anything the last 20 years

Same thing was said about Nick Saban after a slightly above average career at Michigan St and then going 8-5 in the year before he won his first National Championship.
Same was said about Goofy Les Miles after an extremely mediocre career at Oklahoma State before he won his first national championship.
And…. Everyone just knew Ed O couldn’t do Jack shite after failing miserably at Ole Miss before putting together a team that went 15-0 and won a national championship

So you were more confident that Orgeron would win one at LSU?

3 in 20 years and played for 4, homie. 2nd most only to Bama. We have much better odds than your has been program with a coach that's having trouble with his shapes and letters does.

He’s a RB. If he wants to play in the NFL he should go as soon as possible.

Wouldn’t it be 6 with Cash Jones being 7?
