There was a funeral in 2008

Since this funeral was 15 years ago, no Georgia fans remember it. It was a solemn day for all of them as their perfect, up until that point, season was brutally murdered in horrific fashion.
They overlooked Alabama because they felt Alabama was weak and they were powerful; they were haughty. They thought that since Saban was short, he couldn't beat them.
Saban is still a short person and because of that, the new generation of Georgia fans again feel he is to be overlooked.
It's going to be another fricking funeral this Saturday and that little midget bastard is going to one again dance on the smoldering embers of a devastated Georgia program and fans.
It will take them years to truly recover, just like last time. Everyone make sure to tune in; it's going to be a good time.

That game was when I knew we were turning the corner. Had no idea what would happen over the decade plus. GOAT run by the GOAT program.

Georgia is a different program now.
They are Bama on steroids and deer antler spray.

Do you still have Scotty Cochran to lead the way?

Didn't Kirby work for Saban back then?

That was a weird game. Alabama absolutely dominated the first 40 minutes of the game before hanging on for dear life for a somewhat comfortable win.
Not the same Georgia program now though. Georgia is now 2011/2012 Alabama dominant without another strong in division program (LSU and some years Auburn) or the occasional hot in division team (2014/2015 Ole Miss, 2012 A&M) to deal with. At least with Texas and OU joining the league they'll have an occasionally tough road game thrown in to their typical cake walk of a schedule against SEC East opponents each year.

What I remember about that game was how we came out of the gate so fast and then UGA mounted a comeback and we held on.

The lack of shite talk between Georgia and Alabama is unsettling. Hopefully this will kick start some quality shite posting between the two fanbases.
I mean, are the rest of you guys that afraid of one another this year? Pussies.

That game ruined black jerseys for Georgia until this very day. They won't admit it but that's why they rarely do it anymore unless it's against a team like Miss St.

Different team. Different coach. Different culture.
That was also 15 years ago you smooth-brained Cro-Mangun.

Only thing getting buried on Saturday is what remains of Saban’s “dynasty”. UGAs inevitable victory will mark the second year in a row with no playoffs for Saban and the Tide. It will mark the first time you’ve gone 3 years without an NC under Saban. And it will be another step on Kirby and UGAs path to the greatest run in SEC and NCAA history.
