I cannot understand why anybody thought Leach was some kind of great coach. He was an average coach his whole career who gave responses in interviews that some people found humorous.

In all seriousness I don’t think it’s a bad hire. The hire that I was nervous they would make is Chadwell. That dude is going to be a super star. Lebby is one of those coaches that I think will have some decent success at State. But he’s one of those guys you will have to worry about leaving too like Ole Miss does with Kiffin most years.

Correct it’s the best available hire. All the current hc they went after turned them down.
