Maybe Auburn can beg the SEC office to rearrange their schedule again so they don’t have to play Bama and NMS back to back.

Alabama and UGA have, and have always had, infinitely more talent than Auburn. That insulates you a little bit from the awful loss we saw Saturday.

The rivalry records were close before Kirby and Saban, which should never happen. That's why we're the best, most fun school to root for.

Auburn always loses these types of games every 2/3 years

Name the last time something like that has happened...I'll even give you the last non P5 home loss for Auburn before last saturday: 1991 to Southern Miss.

So, no, Auburn doesn't lose these games every 2 or 3 years.

You are wasting your energy. There are too many haters that like to hype their losses as not as bad. They can't see the state they were in verses if the team that beat them was good or sucked.

Saban lost with most of his NC team to an awful ULM team and want to just show scores and ignore the state Auburn was left in or how good NMSU has been.

With that roster, Freeze overachieved this year IMO.

On paper, they have more talent than OM. The QB carousel circus and this dud kept them from reaching their potential. I think Freeze takes more control next year.

The LSU-Troy debacle was not close.

Troy destroyed LSU. 0rger0n should have been fired at halftime.

But then Lord Burreaux came, saved him, and made him a filthy rich man.

Maybe UGA can cry to get an even easier schedule. Give them cupcakes before their big games instead of back to back top 10 or 20 teams every year. But that would be dumb since that's how it already is.

Saban lost to ULM with a team that had finished 6-7 overall the previous year, and had gone 2-6 in conference play the previous year. Alabama's recruiting had been below par for years before his arrival.
On a different subject, what are the odds that Auburn performed so poorly against NMST because they spent that week preparing for Alabama instead? Or did they just come out flat like Alabama did against Arkansas? By the way, I don't recall ever seeing a team make as many close catches in a game as NMST did against AU, sort of freakish.

Alabama lost to ULM at the beginning of the Saban era
LSU lost to Troy at the beginning of the Coach O era
Georgia almost lost to FCS Nicholls state at the beginning of the Kirby era
I think LSU also lost to UAB at the beginning of the Saban era

If Auburn can follow this trend, the future is bright under Freeze

This may look like a positive input, but Freeze should have no business losing a game when his team is favored to win easily.

The ULM quarterback wasn’t picking up and body slamming Alabama defensive players.

The truth is that CHF is in his first year with a team which has holes in different positions. Anyone with that problem can lose a game that looks terrible. I personally think he will overhaul the roster and Auburn will be a much improved team next year and going forward.

Fortunately for us we were able to reel the next week when Auburn blew a 21 point lead against us.
