Firing fisher is absurd

Their starting QB is out for the year and all of their games have been competitive. The #1 recruiting class they signed is only in their sophomore year and they have another elite class lined up this season. Their future is bright from a talent standpoint and that usually translates to wins. They’re about to throw away $76 million before all of this talent becomes upperclassmen. Who do they think they’re going to get? Now this recruiting class is going to see decommitments galore and players are going to transfer out of the program in waves.
They will regret this and I suspect they will not come close to knocking on the door of being competitive for championships in the league again with Texas and Oklahoma joining. They weren’t that far away and could’ve won the West this year if Weigman didn’t get injured.

He’s had long enough to prove himself. He’s a good recruiter, but horrible x’s & o’s. No other team would have waited this long with him.

I don't know what seems more hilarious right now.
Aggy thinking they can compete in the SEC.
Or Aggy thinking they can compete in the SEC with Jimbo Fisher
Member when they thought they won the LSU sweepstakes?

That’s a fair argument.
Now do 2022. And 2021.
Fisher knew what the expectations were when he was hired; don’t feel sorry for the cat.
And A&M made him a rich man.
I doubt he’s surprised this morning.

Paging Cam Coleman. Paging Cam Coleman. Your room is ready.

Dumb is going to dumb.
Just let them make their bed.
I saw this coming.
Hell... deep down I think even you saw this coming.
Everyone sees a signing class and wants immediate results (always forgetting that it takes 3+ years to reap the benefit).
UGAs 2018 #1 recruiting class... national championship 2021.
Alabama's 2017 #1 recruiting class. National championship 2020.
LSUs 2016 #2 recruiting class. National championship 2019.
Alabama's 2014 #1 recruiting class. National championship 2017.
Just let them make their bed.

Dabo Swinney and Jim Harbaugh are proof positive that you should wait, especially if you have talent lined up. Don’t have a knee jerk reaction when your starting QB is out for the year.

Time passed Jimbo by. His offensive ingenuity became outdated over the years and he didn’t adapt.

Exactly. That class doesn’t produce championship results until they’re upperclassmen. A&M is idiotic.

That's what makes it so hysterical.
They have no clue.
Just incompetency all the way to the top!

I'll let you know when we give a shite about what a fan from a school that hired Hugh Freeze again as a head coach thinks.

Their daddies coming to the SEC next year, the boosters feel like they need to come correct and Fisher ain't it.

Freeze has Auburn rolling at the moment and we played UGA closer than any other team on their schedule.

Auburn is the king of moral victories. What a gay school.

I'm not so sure that will be the case. The vast majority of those players are there for the NIL money. Unless that dries up, I think they stick around. I very seriously doubt any of them are at that program because they liked the coaches or admired the history of winning.

Freeze is a legit OC.
In the conversation for best in the conference.
But he needs a ton of things to go right.
Id be excited if I was an auburn fan. But recruiting OL/DL is a must to be relevant year in and year out.
