I mean, sure. Its no secret that he has struggled with short-intermediate passing, and no one is disputing that. That doesn't mean he hasn't also completed several of those passes accurately, and increasingly so.

If you're counting on him to run 20 times for 150 yards the rest of the way, sure he'll probably be fine. But seeing as that hasn't been who he was all year and actually out rushed himself on the season in 1 game, odds are he goes back to having to throw the ball and when he does that, he's the guy that can't hide open receivers.

I'm not saying anything different than yall were before the LSU game. I don't think him turning into a running back against a bottom tier defense changes who he is.

Right, and who is he is one of the best deep ball throwers in the country who is an erratic but effective passer within 20 yards who has stopped making turnover worthy throws the last 6 weeks. And he runs like a deer.

Our point was he's been pretty good even before the LSU game post-Texas. He didn't just all of a sudden play pretty well against LSU (he actually threw the ball worse against LSU than he has in weeks).

Maybe, but they let Auburn's QBs run 16 times for 127 yards. LSU let them run 10 times for 46 yards.

So we'll see.

LSU fans(and apparently the UGA fan in here) have this idea that our offense is "bad' and that they only looked good on Saturday because their defense sucks.

How many wide open guys did he over throw Saturda

He missed at least 3 deep balls and one short pass that would have been a td. So 4ish? Not bad

Good Offenses Against LSU

Florida State: 45
Ole Miss: 55
Missouri: 39

Average Offenses Against LSU

Arkansas: 31

Bad Offenses Against LSU

Mississippi State: 14
Auburn: 18
Army: 0

What category should we put a team that scored 42???

I wouldn't base anything on LSU game. Their Defenses is awful.

Not to mention, in terms of pts per drive, it was the 2nd most they gave up all year.

1. Ole Miss (4.58)
2. Alabama (4.20)
3. FSU (3.75)
4. Arkansas (3.10)
5. Mizzou (3.00)
6. Auburn (1.64)
7. Mississippi St (1.40)
8. Grambling (0.91)
9. Army (0.00)

He threw some bad deep balls against LSU and generally his deep completions have been to WRs 5+ yds open but... He's gotten better, he was more decisive and the game seems to be slowing down for him..a little more polishing and continued improvement of the oline.... It'll be" perfect... just perfect "

Throwing a hailmary for your completions isn't an offense

I’ve seen him throw perfect long balls - not Hail Marys.

Plus, this past weekend, he had some really nice throws from the pocket. Timing is not perfect but he is getting there

I would say he hasn't seen the games. These are just talking points. Mean nothing.

I'm not saying anything different than yall were before the LSU game. I don't think him turning into a running back against a bottom tier defense changes who he is.

There's visible improvement though. Bama's oline cleaned up a shite load of pre-snap penalties they were committing early in the season, it's helped the offense flow better. Milroe has gained confidence, he's absorbed the coaching and he's gained trust in his WRs & RBs - he's not trying to do it all by himself. He has a nice way of converting 3rd downs, which I kinda like.

The competition got stiffer as we hit the meat of the SEC, everyone knew Bama would have to bring a productive offense and be able to score a lot of points to hang with likes of OleMiss/Arky/UT/LSU to even have a chance a W. This entire team (Milroe) settled down, listened and accepted the coaching/training and they've improved.

Gradual improvement, clean up errors and mistakes, players developing and getting better as the season progresses and players simply doing their damn job ....What more can a fan ask for?

I didn’t realize how big he was until I seen him standing beside a few people.
He will only get better seems to take a quarter to get warmed up.

Not this year. This team is very vulnerable to the perimeter run game.
