Lane really needs to beat a good team. This will be his best chance for a while.

I thought for the first time this season I could watch the game without worrying about a heart attack because we would definitely lose but now I’m thinking we win out and don’t get to play for anything of significance because WAOM.

I guess you haven't watched any Ole Miss games this year.

Man, Auburn fans are in a dark place. Didn’t know it was this bad.

Honestly who knows. OleMiss has the ultimate free shot this weekend. If you win, you have a decent to good shot to make the playoffs finishing 11-1. If you lose you still will make a NY6 bowl at 10-2.

You're not wrong. But, Bama isn't really that good this year. They just keep plugging away.

Uga isn't playing as dominant against the softest schedule in the SEC. Is it confidence or team talent?

We aren’t deep. And a night game in Athens...what fun. 3 TDs by UGA. I just don’t see us getting close.

Mizzou would have won in COMO.

They didn't win there last year -- against an even greater and better team.

No, they would NOT have won in COMO, either, and that is said with the utmost respect for Mizzou, too, which they deserve.

Nice, we've reached this stage of coping.

I don’t think you would enjoy us winning in Athens at all

Unless the CFP committee doesn't move the championship game from Jan/2024 to Dec/2023, we won't win the national championship this year.

As scheduled, we WILL win it in Jan/2024.

As usual, Suckeyes will stay HOME.

Keep telling that to yourself. You can stay in denial about how weak of a schedule you've been playing or you can accept that your team isn't what it was last year or the year before.

Remember one thing:
Ohio State - 8 national championships
Georgia - 4 (finally won 2 after 40 fricking years of being a mediocre arse program)

What helped Mizzou stay in games vs UGA these last 2 years is that they are physical on both lines of scrimmage. Honestly how does Ole Miss match up on the lines?

1961 - finished #2 in both polls, didn't play in a bowl game lol
1970 - finished #2 and #5 in the polls, lost the bowl game lol

Nice claims there. You have the same number of national titles as we do over the last 50 years, and we don't play in the dogshit Big Ten to get a cakewalk every year. Your record in bowl games, playoff games, and against the SEC in general speaks for itself. frick Ohio St.
