How many of bama's "national championships" are really legitimate?

Do they still claim that one back around '73 when they got beat by then #2 Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl?
iirc, Notre Dame whipped them again the next year in the Orange Bowl.
Did they claim another "national championship" that year, too.

Does Notre Dame still claim "that one title" from 1977 after finishing with the same record as Bama but losing to a team (Ole Miss) that Bama annihilated that year? Does Notre Dame still claim "that one title" from 1966 where they finished 9-0-1 while Alabama finished 11-0?
Does OU claim the 1950 title despite losing to Kentucky in the Sugar Bowl? Does Auburn still claim 1957 despite not playing in a bowl? Does Tennessee still claim 1951 despite losing to Maryland in the Sugar Bowl? Does Maryland still claim the 1953 title despite losing the Sugar Bowl to OU? Does Texas still claim the 1970 title despite losing to Notre Dame in the Cotton bowl?

who cares? The NCAA didn't care so teams were allowed to just make up championships. Many teams do it, unfortunatly, LSU doesn't. But I think most fans know that nearly all of those "old" championships are worthless and made up.
