Who cares? We keep winning and we keep advancing. Name of the game.

The "weak schedule" talk reeks of jealousy.

If we had this exact same schedule in 1996 nobody woudl bat an eye. We sucked that year and simply were not a good team or program so nobody would call the schedule easy at all. Transport the exact same schedule to 2023 and it's a cakewalk. People keep seeing us win all the time and dominate opponents so conflate that with the schedule being easy or hard.

By the time the season is over, UGA will have played several quality teams

after our 12 game regtular season we will have played 4 teams ranked in the top 20 at game time. That's a pretty decent schedule no matter how you slice it. If we pull off the improbable and go 15-0 again, we will have added a top 10 opponent in the SECCG and 2 more top 4 opponents in the playoffs, so it will literlaly be impossible to blame a "weak schedule" if we do end up winning it all.

That's what peopelp don't seem to differentiate...the quality of our opponent shouldn't be altered by how much better we are then them.

I agree with this, but get used to it. and It doesn't seem to matter in the Big10+. Just look at Michigan.

Just worry about your 6 losses in a year and a half. We’ll worry about our own business. It’s worked so far

I believe (today) that LSU and Alabama are the two best SEC teams. Give Ole Miss credit for their close home win over LSU. Also give respect to LSU for playing a tough non-con game against a strong Florida State team. Daniels is probably the best player in the country and will need to carry LSU down the stretch. Huge test against Alabama upcoming

Ole Miss is a very good team and I look for them to beat Georgia

Time will tell...there is a pretty good shot that UGA will play either Bama or LSU and will certainly play ole miss. UGA would be double digit favorites against all of them but I know the weak schedule gives everyone who is not a DAWG some hope and with every week and every win that hope diminishes slowly for those poor bastards...

Texas is going to be so middle of the road basic in the SEC. The melts are going to be hilarious.

Y’all need to learn to be cute and feisty like Missouri not dumb and delusional like A&M

I never understood iron sharpens iron statement. Iron is a brittle material that must be purified to get a useful material. Iron on its own is pretty much only good for ornamental jobs.

Well yeah - the DBs are awful. Not sure how that's relevant to the SoS conversation though

And now they’re freshmen making their first starts. Gotta grow up fast.

Michigan and UGA get to rest for two months before they start playing tough teams.

Must be nice.

Are you sure bama has never benefited from an easy start to a schedule ?

Factually, UGA's SoS is 100th in the country. Not great

81st by Sagarin which is well regarded. Not that 81 is exactly killing it. . . Will be MUCH higher after the next 5 games (including SECCG).

Texas beat Houston on a gift spot by the refs when Houston was driving to tie. K State beat Houston 41-0 the next week.

Do you think Texas has a shot to beat K State? I think you might keep it close for 3 qtrs.

And if you lose, remember that Mizzou beat K State earlier this season.

is this an anti UGA thread or anti Missu?

It's a "I wonder if I can get a bunch of Georgia people riled up." thread.

Except that when the game was scheduled FSU was garbage. Hell they were just hoping to make a bowl game during those years. They won 10 games last year for the first time since 2016.

Its like deja vu all over again, every year.

Everyone we play has a sucky record because we beat them.

Now Mizzou is a good team. But if UGA beats them, we'll hear how they're a weak team.
