I dont even care if it is a crippled Mississippi State. Dont one bit. Just a W in in the column. Even another 3-2. Long as we are the 3. Need to stop the bleeding. A loss today is going to be devastating.

So put on your lucky shirts, drink your lucky drinks and do what ever you frickers can to help the cause. Today we win, today we ride bitches

IMO this is a HUGE game - a make a break kind of game. Considering the next 4 games a win today could lead to positive momentum , additional wins, and bowl eligibility. I know the expectation for this season for most wasn't crazy high, but I think making a bowl game would be huge for this program right now.

On the flip side Auburn loses this game I do have a fear that the opposite will happen and this team might not win a conference game the whole season

I decided at the last moment to go to the game. We have never lost a game that I went to since 2013 and I have been to less than 20 games. I will bring the good juju and we are winning today.

If we lose today it will be bad for everyone. It will make Freeze’s seat much hotter next year and the next. Hopefully for his sake he decided on a qb in practice this week and calls the plays.

You have to think we air it out more this week. Not talking throwing it like 40 times, but we have to keep the defense honest. At least run some screens or something.

I feel the opposite. I feel like he is going to try and run it down their throats and control the clock. Auburn style

Meh, I don't think Freeze is on the hot seat, nor should he be. He was dealt a hand about as shitty as what Tubs had to deal with in '99. In fact, Tubs lost 5 in a row during the middle of that season.

I feel different… in grand scheme of things I’m not sure today matters much at all.

Don’t get me wrong I wanna win…. But whether this team finishes 5-7 6-6 or 7-5 with this offense is pretty meaningless. Freeze is gonna have to overhaul this off-season regardless.

I mean we can’t really run it more. We had 6 pass attempts with 7 minutes left in the 4th last week.

I’m with low spark on this today is a game you want to win and would make us appear to be getting better which I’m not sure we are.

But for Hugh it means nothing more than a win or loss for his Auburn era. Everyone knows or should at least know that ‘25 is the year to judge Hugh where he has the program.

For Auburn history and culture we need the win because we don’t do losing seasons.

Today is the 34th anniversary of an overlooked AU-MSU classic.

On October 28, 1989, AU hosted the Bullies at JH, coming off a frustrating road loss to F$U that essentially ended the Tigers’ NC aspirations.

Dye questioned the team’s toughness, and they responded with a smothering defense and a relentless rushing attack against State. I couldn’t find any stats online, but i doubt if Reggie Slack attempted more than 4 passes all day.

The result was a stifling 14-0 shutout that it was my pleasure to witness in person. It started a streak of 5 straight wins to end the season, including the legendary first Iron Bowl in JH, and a Gator Bowl victory over tOSU, marking the first (and thus far only) time AU finished two consecutive seasons with double digit wins.

Do we really think this is the best advertisement placement for CHF?
