Out of 117 years of existence, if you took out 1991 to 2008, Florida would be as irrelevant as Vanderbilt or Ole Miss. 0 non vacated SEC titles and 0 national titles. Florida hasn’t fallen off recently they’ve just gone back to what they’re used to being

I could say the same for UGA if you remove Kirby Smart.
You guys are lucky Saban's best protege ever played at Georgia.
I guess after 40 years of terrible luck the ball is bound to start bouncing your way eventually.

Hard to believe Florida of all programs has been historically irrelevant given the location and the insane level of talent the state produces.

UGA has only 3 seasons relevancy on the national stage, but that aside Florida won more games than Georgia from 1983-2001.

When I graduated from LSU in early 1990s, Mississippi State and UK each still had more SEC titles than Florida.

Florida held the football and basketball titles at the same time. They are also the only team to win football, basketball, and baseball titles in recent memory.
They’re a huge rival but I respect their accomplishments.

Not flaming, just curious. When did UGA starting claiming the pre-1980 title? I never saw that as a kid. It was always just 1980.
