5 seed isn’t a death sentence by any means but a 65% winning percentage is a good bit of a drop from nearly 79% winning percentage.

A 12 seed is generally gonna be a good bit tougher than a 13 seed.

Rylan [Griffen] has not gone live yet, but he's doing more and more basketball activity every day," Oats said. "We're hopeful he could possibly play Friday. We'll put him through more stuff tomorrow and see how he responds. Could end up being a game-time decision."

Agreed. I'm less concerned about his availability impacting the outcome of this game, which probably doesn't ultimately matter much, but would like to see him get some live action to shake the rust off before we play in the NCAAt.

Breaking: Vanderbilt is working toward severing its ties with Jerry Stackhouse, sources tell @CBSSports. His firing should be formal soon. The terms of Stackhouse's buyout aren't publicly known but are believed to be north of $15 million.

Alabama's Rylan Griffen (calf) practiced today and if he feels okay Friday morning, will play in tomorrow's SEC Tournament game, per Nate Oats.

Averages 11.1 PPG.

DNP in last game.

Watching Arkansas, really bothers me how much we struggled at home against them. They are so lazy on defense and really just a hot mess of a team.

Anybody else think Louisville is going to make a strong push to hire Nate Oats?

lville is not the program it was with Denny. Just a shell of itself and would be a total rebuild. I doubt they could pay him more than Bama, if money became an object

We didn't need him. Who we needed was Bediako and what a fumble Charles did listening to the horrible advice that he should leave early

Anyone know what time our game (EST or CST) would be Saturday if we win tomorrow night?

According to the bracket, it would be 25 mins after game 11 finishes - game 11 starts at noon CT.

He's probably not interested, but I'd love to have Stackhouse work with Oats. Just give him full autonomy on in-bounds plays
