1993. They ended the 28-game win streak by Bama but kept the not-losing streak to UTk alive at 8, which would extend to 9. There has never been a better tie in the history of Bama football.

Jay Barker runs it in with 21 seconds left and then gets a two-point conversion run by David Palmer for a 17-17 tie.

I never would have thought when I was that age that I'd see a 15-game win streak for either team in the TSIO.

Favorites- 3 and all are tied

1972-Bama comes back from 10-3 deficit in the last 3 minutes to win 17-10

1990-Bama goes to Knoxville as 2 TD underdogs. Lee Corso says it is like a high school playing a college team. Tied 6-6 with under a minute UT lines up the winning FG. Bama blocks it and it bounces like 30 yds backwards to put Bama in FG range. Phillip Doyle hits a 47 yarder and the High School team wins 9-6.

Mt Cody- Game should have never been this close. Up 12-3 late Mark Ingram gets a first down that pretty much seals it but he fumbles trying for extra yds. UT scores a TD, gets the onsides, you know the rest.

Yup 2022!!!

I think 2022 is the only time many Tennessee fans can remember beating Bama.

Not as dramatic as some but I loved 2015 game in Tuscaloosa with Peyton on the sideline. Bama was down 14-13 with about three minutes left, Bama drove the field and Derrick Henry rumbled in for a touchdown. Immediately they switched the camera to Manning on the sideline in disbelief. It was awesome.

But it wasn’t over yet. Tennessee gets the ball back with I think an about 2 minute or so left, when Ryan Anderson came from the edge whipped his blocker and strip sacked Dobbs on the 10. Ashawn Robinson picked it up and almost scored. Saban mercy kneed them and won 19-14.

1987. We'd lost to Memphis the week before, 2nd loss of the season. Dad was given a couple of tickets at the last minute. Vols were ranked 8th (I think) but the Tide played lights out and routed UT 41-22. No one saw that coming, still my favorite game I've attended with my father.

I was gonna say mount Cody but alright

Going to relitigate this 15 years later

Cody pulled off his helmet immediately after the block. Is the play dead with the block? Or should there have been a penalty for Tennessee to re-kick?

Lots of great games in this rivalry! I always loved the 1995 game in which Manning to Kent in the first play started a seven game win streak for the Vols. The 9-6 loss in 1990 really hurt. Would hate to see the TSIO ended.

Yup! Exactly….. if not for the bounce we don’t get in fg range. Our offense was offensive.

Manning to Kent in the first

It's funny how vivid that play still is in my mind.

I'm old,but I actually attended this one in 1973 with my dad at Legion Field. #2 vs #10. Just an absolutly fantastic fake by Gary Rutledge to Wayne Wheeler on the game's first play. Wound up 42-21. Alabama was clearly better, but it got out of hand late. Tennessee tied it up 21 all in the third. 1973

You are NOT exaggerating. Scroll to the 17 minute mark.

Two things about that 1990 game. Tennessee should have won that game by at least three touchdowns. The talent on that 1990 UT was amazing.

With that said, the 12 point point spread was like stealing candy from a baby.No way Tenn could cover that. How Majors won those four in a row is a head scratcher. He got so tight, so nervous for the Alabama game he couldn't see straight. I bet and won $200 on Alabama that day putting my money where my mouth was.
