YouTube of the end of the GT-MIA game
This needs to be brought to Saban’s attention. They need to look at what Holgerson and some others who run shotgun/pistol exclusively do for victory formation. Basically just a full house pistol with two personal protectors flanking the QB on each side and the tailback well back to act as a safety if anything goes wrong.

Wasn’t Cristobal’s first time doing that either. Think he did it in 18 or 19 against Stanford and lost.

Kinda apples and oranges. That play Milroe ran wasn’t because we don’t know how to kneel it. It was just a colossal brain fart

What are you even talking about?
Alabama took itself out of being able to go victory because for some reason we were trying to rush to avoid a review of Jase’s catch that hit the first down. Milroe then threw it instead of running (very bad situational awareness by him). I don’t see any correlation to formation.

I think they were just all rushing to get a play off before a replay could be initiated, Milroe saw Benson uncovered, and instinct kicked in. That doesn't excuse it or anything, but it definitely wasn't something orchestrated by the coaches.

Kind of cool that the game winning TD pass was actually made by a Texas A&M transfer QB (Haynes King) to a Bama transfer WR (Christian Leary)

Leary caught the winning TD pass.

It was one person who decided to throw that pass and not the entire Bama team or coaching staff

It might have been the worst pass ive ever seen thrown from a bama QB, while also being the worst decision.
But we won, so let's roll.

This is how we know that you didn't watch the game.
Saban knows about it. he's the coach. He was on the field when it happened, and he bitched at Milroe about it and the camera caught.
So why would it need to be brought up to him when he was there?

Had Milroe thrown a pick 6 on that stupid pass attempt to the side flat, we'd have never heard the end of it.
Ever.
Ever.

Which would be fine if he were consistently capable of throwing short range passes and we didn't need to just burn clock to end the game. He needs to understand his own limitations.

I watched every snap buddy. After that first down pass catch and run, the staff should've put up a red light and called in their victory formation. Instead the offense went quick to the line in shotgun and fired off a bad pass.
Furthermore in a recent press conference Saban was asked why we do not use under center in short yardage. He responded that they have some concerns about QB-center exchange especially with road game crowd noise and the snap queue being different under center. In my opinion, the offensive staff never intended to go victory because of those concerns. If so, they need to be looking around for gun-based kneel downs.
The offensive staff has led a very mismanaged unit all season. They don't get the benefit of the doubt from me and I'm not just going to blame Milroe there.

Sir.
They have been doing this.
Sir, did you read my post before replying? I was talking about road game snap queues being the reason they have rarely used under center snaps on the road this season thus far. I see a big Alabama logo at midfield in that video.

You guys realize milroe could have easily just run backwards and wasted 7 seconds on any down and the game was over. We never never remotely close to choking that

If that was the case, why not just spike it run a QB keeper? Snap prior to the review notification nullifies any review.
