Georgia is no more a dynasty than was Florida from 2006-2009.
So what’s a dynasty? UGA played for another title in 2017 btw.

“ So you are saying that the boosters of the Vandy’s and MTSU’s of the world will outbid the boosters of the Alabama’s and Georgia’s of the world for players they want. ”
No, I am saying that, for the first time the supporters of say Vanderbilt can at least attempt to compete on a level playing field against the Georgia’s/Ala. of the world. For instance say one or two or more of the big Nashville record companies (who have deep pockets/influence) want to do an NIL deal with a superstar 5 star……
And Georgia supporters simply can’t match the offer.
Ergo….parity begins.

Programs like mine don’t stand a chance. In the 70s it was increasing scholarships. That was the first blow.
They actually started limiting scholarships in the 1970s in order to start implementing title 9. First limitation was 105 schollies in 1973. They whittled away for about 30 years until they got to the 85/25 rule.
That was the same year those NCAA took away the players "laundry money". I think it was all the way up to $15 bucks a month when the cancelled it.

Alabama is a dynasty.
It's more than that, and more than what we did. It's Alabama 2009-2020 (6 titles). It's Miami 1983-1991 (4-6 titles)
They don't happen often and winning 2 and playing for consolation prizes isn't enough.

If Vandy and Middle Tennessee St had a late bloomer/under the radar stud.. the elites would snatch them up.
Not unless they guarantee the player he will start immediately.
I think the point of the OP is no one is going to be able to stack talent anymore. People will walk if they don't play right away. We are seeing it already. You've got 5 stars transferring out of schools like OSU and Bama because they are 2nd or 3rd on depth chart.
Exactly. And, Vandy and MTSU aren't the best examples for how the parity is going to play out. A team like Missouri is, though. The Tigers build a lot of depth in the last two offseasons by bringing in rotational players from good P5 programs around the country: Clemson, Miami, Florida, Florida St., Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Oregon, Arizona St. There's no way that Mizzou would be as solid as they are right now without those additions.
And, yes, Mizzou has lost couple great players to teams higher in the food chain (Dom Lovett-Georgia, Mekhi Wingo-LSU), but what they've brought in has filled those holes pretty well.

Some might say you are in the middle of one right now.

FCS NDSU is already feeling it.

Parity means not as many elite teams.

Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, etc. get ready for (wait for it) PARITY.
Yes, assuming the ncaa continues (no assurance) the implementation of revised/revising transfer rules and NIL have totally changed the concept of football dynasties.
Parity rules and I envision in the near term games where Georgia loses to Vanderbilt and Alabama loses to Middle Tenn State.
Too much money involved and too many good players unwilling to be 3rd on a dynasty depth chart.
Don’t cry for me Argentina, make that Georgia!
Parity will last about 3 seasons and the cream will adjust and rise to the top like it always does.

When I see you finish top 5 in recruiting rankings, I'll start believing.

Notre Dame hasn’t won a championship in 35 years

Rebuilds are going to be a lot quicker too. You don't have to stack multiple recruiting classes to get back to being competitive. Just have to poach other teams' players to fill needed gaps.
This. What used to be 3-5 year rebuilds are done in one offseason with the portal. Whats crazy is you can bring in all the transfers you want without going over 85. At least have a cap on how many transfers you can bring in. FSU, LSU, Colorado basically created new teams with the portal.
