They may pull of the Bama upset this weekend, but the vast majority of them (here and on their own boards) are already counting it as a win and speculating on how it will help set them up for a national championship run. You’d think they were playing some Group of Five directional school. Strange.

Although I don't want to see it, they are going to get their asses handed to them this weekend.

My dear Longhorn friend,
Sit back and enjoy the ride, for it is now October.

troll or not.. I agree that they are super confident this year.. just two weeks ago, the sky was absolutely falling again, but it appears that was only a minor setback
Why they are confident
1) they saw “little brother” beat Goliath
2) they haven’t played in October yet, and the roller coaster is still going up
3) they have the #3 most talented team in the nation
4) Alabama is clearly down this year. otherwise they wouldn’t have lost to tu
5) The game is not on the road where they have lost 7 in a row
6) Durkin has finally figured it out against Arkansas and Auburn
7) losing the Heisman hopeful initially hurt, but Max is much better now with Petrino fixing all of his problems
8) they are only giving up 1 more ppg this year compared to last year
There is simply no way that they can lose this weekend.

A&M is playing well. They should be confident, especially playing at home.

Man y’all are more concerned with A&M this week, and aren’t really even talking about your supposed biggest rivalry game of the year.
Probably just an overconfident bunch and not worried about OU.

Aggy should be humble and reserved like the sips are, right?

That’s BS. Most Aggies are realists sbiut the game. It could go either way.
