You think they would be used to losing to Ole Miss.

in our "defense", we're melting more based on how our defense played (or didn't play) and less on losing to Ole Miss.

It's not just that we lost, it's how we lost and how incredibly awful our defense looked. And I don't mean to say that Ole Miss didn't play great offense... but our players have been out of position so badly the past few weeks, consistently whiffing on tackles, leaving receivers uncovered more often than not, no discipline in rush lanes, not setting the edge, etc.

It's truly surprising and unexpected.

No excuses, LSU's defense is worse than awful. If we lose the rest of our games it's deserved. It's like they don't give a crap or are just so poorly coached it can't be fixed. Anyway, we should get beat, bad at times, and not complain except to Kelly and his pathetic staff.

If LSU fans wanted an elite NC winning head coach, Jimbo is right there. Instead they talked themselves into BK.

I guess they will not be going to the playoffs now?
All I have heard about is how great they are and 2019 over and over

Sounds like you have a coaching issue. Who's y'alls head coach?

7-3 in the last 10
15-6 (Ole miss vacated a win, LSU vacated 2)
63-42-4 all time
Ole miss hasn't won back to back since 08/09

I would think winning 70% of time time is pretty good. Does Ole Miss have that type of winning record against any SEC team?

I mean hell, even MSU has a winning record against Ole Miss in the last decade. That's rough.

You got us this year, in a somewhat thrilling game. Congratulations, but don't act like Ole Miss beating LSU is the standard.

What do you want to bet that guy went home and told all of his friends and family he took out a giant frat boy instead of a 95lb girl

LSU D-line can learn from this guy!

- keep shoulders square to the line of scrimmage
- take on pulling guards with your inside arm so that you can shuffle off the block and take a pursuit angle on the RB.
- Don't lose gap responsibility
- Don't let the pulling guard get to the next level.

Not melting, simply sharing a fact. I was over the game by the time I turned the TV off. It is what it is.

Yall were going to the 'ship preseason. Then FSU was a "playoff team", so that loss was no big deal.

Now, you're already to "it's a down year"? Make up your minds you dejected corndog smelling pukes.

LSU was ranked #5 preseason by the AP and the Coaches Poll.

Ole Miss has won 2 of the last 3 against LOLSU

Wtf do wins over Ed Orgeron, Matt Luke, and Houston Nutt have to do with the current program under Kiffin?

20 of LSU’s wins came before WW2

It’s pretty much even since Hitler invaded Poland.
