These arse wipes may end up joining the SEC but the arrogance of these clowns is something to behold.

In 2024 the SEC goes to 16 teams. Of those 16 Clemson only has an all time winning record against 3 of the 16. Those unfortunate 3 are Missouri, Oklahoma and South Carolina’s bitch arse. They have never played Arkansas or Texas.

They have a record of 48-115-9 against the big 6 of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee. Hell they have a losing record against Vandy.

All this conference needs is another welfare check recipient.

I don’t want to see them in the SEC either.

I can think of better teams to bring.

Better for UGA for Clemson to be outside the SEC footprint. Clemson only about 100 miles from Athens and on state border - joining the SEC would be a huge boon to Clemson recruiting and would help them recruit versus UGA and SCAR

I'd trade Missouri for Clemson any day. Clemson boasts a kind of Auburn-style uber-Baptist redneckery but they aspire to Ole Miss' old south pretensions. They can be douchey but nothing we haven't seen before. Lots of hot, drunk girls in short, tacky orange dresses do make for a fun game day.

They are definitely coming to the SEC. Very little doubt about it.

Ironic that UGA, South Carolina, Bama, Tenner, and others don't want them in the SEC. But they are cutting the deal now.

Guess it isn't just A&M and Arkansas that doesn't get their way.

If Clemson were to join the SEC, they'd just be coming back home where they were originally.

Clemson used to be co-members with every current SEC team except Missouri and Arkansas as well as with 6 of the current 15 ACC members in the old Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

So, Clemson coming into the SEC doesn't bother me, I'd welcome them. FSU, too.

Along with Clemson and FSU, UNC and UVA are said to be coming along as a block....Georgia Tech and Miami are also said to be in the mix.

The SEC better do something because the Big 10 is aggressive and they want into the Southeastern part of the U.S. The SEC needs to BLOCK them by taking this preemptive strike or lose out.

You can try, but we just don't care. Most of our fanbase can take it and dish it out.

Regarding all of this though, I see college as no less than a NFL minor league now. NILs, transfer portals, mega-conferences... not the sport I grew up with. And I say that as a 35-year old.

It's simple: SEC Presidents should not vote Clemson or F$U into the SEC. Why should we help those two schools? I see no reason to.

So other conferences can't. That would be the only reason.

Would be awkward if they do indeed join and right after that Dabo replaces Saban at Bama.

I'll believe it when I see. I've read the rumors that Clemson has found a way to break the GOR and even the exit fee. IMO they would have already left if that were truly the case unless the adding of Cal, Stanford and SMU has somehow created a legal loophole.

If this is somehow true the B1G, Big 12 and SEC will pluck the teams they want and the left over will form a new conference that will be the Island of Misfit Toys conference.

I agree with JetDawg...you want them in the B1G to not only grow that conference more, but give them a foot in SEC territory???

In other words: is your dislike of Clemson is BIGGER that that of the B1G?

It's simple, you want the B1G taking the best teams in CFB AND start expanding in SEC territory?
