That year, they beat Southern Miss 17-10

And they beat Louisiana Tech 13-0

Don't think I need to explain the similarities of Gene Stallings to Nick Saban - they're almost identical twins in every category of coaching

If remember correctly, they didn't even score a touchdown against Vandy in the opener and wn with field goals....they started off looking bad and just gained momentum as the season progressed

I was at the MSU game that year. It was loud.

That Bama defense would hold 2023 Bama offense to less than 150 total yards

Completely different era. Scores like that weren't all that uncommon in 1991

This Alabama team isn’t winning the west, the SEC, or the national title this season. They may not even win the Iron Bowl. They’re not going to be anything like the 1992 team.

Also they're lucky that they jumped A&M even though neither team lost or tied a game before the bowls. Otherwise it would've been #1 Miami vs #2 A&M in the Cotton Bowl.

That's being very generous. Maybe 50.

The only comparable part’s between the 92 team and Bama this year is Special Teams. The kickers and return man on both teams are top notch. The punters on both teams are very good. After that the comparisons stop.

Love the positivity man! Don’t let these assholes keep you down. The tide eventually will rise. It’s inevitable.

But how many did they lose their first P5 matchup by?

Oh…

Yeah. No similarities seen.

They moved ahead of Texas A&M in week 7 and were the consensus #2 team the last several weeks of the season. TAMU lost their bowl game 28-3. Luck had nothing to do with it.

Lol that was back when Southern Miss and La Tech were pretty good. Hell that was right after the Brett Favre era at Southern Miss
