You really want to take away one of the top 3 traditions in the SEC?
I really think he believes this!

Ole Miss fans are jealous because it's one thing you can't steal from State and claim as your own.
hmmm I think a fan from another fanbase outside of the state started this one... There you go again, blaming OM for it.

I do, it's included in any SEC commercial you see. Meaning it is a noticeable SEC tradition.

Yes, that sucks but it has nothing to do with cowbells being completely obnoxious. Of course, that's their whole purpose; to annoy the opposition.

Funny enough they really aren't that loud at field level. Much bigger pain in the arse to opposing fans than opposing players.

Explain again why they get a pass on the artificial noise maker rule.
It’s a tradition and after the utter destruction of it either thru the woke agenda and/or financial gain in the name of viewership and ad revenue there’s damn little of it left. At this point ANY remaining traditions should be placed on the endangered species list and protected at all cost.

You won't find one single fricking fanbase outside of MSU to back you up on this.
While you're right, I don't understand why. If you actually watch the game, there is a hugely noticeable shift from the bells to just people screaming as the offense gets ready for the snap. I don't know why people refuse to admit it though.
Now, I can't say that everyone stops ringing, but you can tell it's well over 90% who stop.
It's a fair question to ask why they're allowed at all - muh, tradishion! - but I don't think it's fair to misstate what's actually happening. The bells give a huge advantage by making it hard for the offense to communicate until about 3-5 seconds before the snap, so that's really unfair, but they do stop when they are required to stop BY THE RULE. The rule is what needs to be fixed/scrapped.
I think a fair and fun solution would be to allow the same thing to happen to MSU at SEC away games. All noise makers are allowed in opposing stadiums, provided they stop at the right time.
Honestly, the bells don't bother me. I was there for our game in 2000, and again in 2016 (both wins for us btw), and it's not that bad. Of course we're in the away section so it's a bit of a buffer. The real problem is if it's like 1 or 2 people ringing. When they're all ringing, it's just a loud din. And it certainly doesn't bother me on TV. It's almost just background noise.

You sound like a really fun person to be around.

Well, to be fair, your mascot was a confederate general waving a confederate flag. Don't act like it wasn't appropriate.

I am a State fan and I may get excommunicated for this…. I don’t like the cowbells. I’m used to it after almost 25 years of going to games, but I don’t bring a bell when I go to games and I groan every time I end up sitting next to an overly excited bell ringer.
I don't particularly like them, either. But I do enjoy the butthurt that they bring Reb fans.

Don't you know, it's YOUR fault that all of your rival's traditions were racist.

They also talk about how OLE MISS tailgating is second to none. To admit one is to admit the other.

Because they haven't beat anyone important at home for them to make a stink about it to the SEC office.

They weren’t bragging on it for you and painting it in a shining light while trying to recruit players to their respective schools???
