Is losing 4 games being "back"? 3 of those losses weren't even competetive.
Hell, 4 losses got Les Miles fired.

Another “chips are down” thread I see. Probably won’t see 7 more of these this week

Back? They lost four games last year.

We aren’t back yet and still won the west

We weren’t back, just won the West

Option C: Florida State is really good.

In 2022 they had to come back from a 17-0 deficit against Auburn (ended up 21-17) and held on for a 13-10 win at Arkansas on as well. They barely beat a down Alabama team in overtime.
Then, even in decent wins over Mississippi State and Ole Miss, LSU trailed both teams by 13+ points at various points in those games.
Finally, a bad loss to a 5-7 A&M team.
Some might say, “well they still won those games” which is a fair point, but I think all of that illustrates they lucked out a few times and jumped on a down SEC west. They likely aren’t back yet, but also not a phony, just have more work to go than what their fanbase thought going into this season.

Worst representative for the division in Atlanta in possibly its entire existence.

LSU is clearly still a work in progress. I will be pleased if LSU can get to 9-3 or better this year.
Still some roster holes IMO.

Next time don’t let a retard QB beat you.

LSU banked their entire season off of beating an overrated Alabama team. That same Alabama team had 5 games go down to the wire.

SEC West was down last year. I don’t think that will be the case this year.

Obviously. As we can look at all of the SEC game results and easily determine that to be the case.
LSU was not "back" last year but, while rebuilding, was good enough to win the west. We are still rebuilding this year and it got off to a shitty start. Just like last year when we won the west.
